What a Home Inspection is and is not...

A home inspection consists of a non-invasive, visual inspection of the home and its systems. Prior to buying or selling, it is important that you know the condition of the home's foundation, roof, the a/c and heating sytems, along with the plumbing, electrical systems, appliances and more. 

After the inspection is complete, the home inspector will compile both a detailed report and a summary report outlining their findings. As a side-note, you'd be surprised how many of the existing homeowners still living in the home are totally unaware of the many issues or problems their homes have... and I'm sure you don't want to pay for these repairs yourself after moving in.
